Outreach

Set up in 1997, the outreach service is now well established and enables SAAS to work with clients throughout the city.  We provide an alcohol counselling service in each of the outreach centres, working with the 'host' agency whenever possible to improve the service to our clients.

The outreach service also offers anonymity for clients who are worried about the stigma of having, and seeking help with, an alcohol problem. People in the waiting room at the Manor Clinic, for example, could have appointments with SAAS, the dentist, the chiropodist, the physiotherapist or even the vasectomy clinic!

For appointments at any of the outreach centres, please contact our main service in the first instance.
